Fish to target here
General habitat guidance; confirm access and regulations before fishing.
- Sheepshead Fishing-deck pilings offer vertical structure for lowering fiddler crabs close to sheepshead feeding cover.
- Mangrove snapper Bay-side pilings give snapper cover to dart from when a small shrimp drifts past.
- Black drum Bay pilings provide a clear reference for positioning a stationary drum bait just outside snagging cover.
- Crevalle jack The open bay beside the fishing deck gives room to cast past bait activity while steering jacks away from pilings.
